Packaging

We send our men's fox socks in recycled kraft paper pouches. If you're adding thicker products to your order, we'll send it to you in a recycled cardboard mailer box with our sage green tissue paper.

If you're choosing our fox socks as a gift for nature loving friends or for your dad on Father's Day, you can add gift wrap at checkout. We can also include a handwritten message for free if you write it in your 'order notes', perfect for small surprises to show you're thinking of them.

Thought makes the men's fox socks from organic cotton, a way of growing that respects nature. It also respects that health of the people who grow it by not exposing them to health-harming pesticides.

The viscose blend in our Thought socks comes from bamboo. Bamboo is a great antibacterial material for your feet, and it also doesn't need any added water or pesticides.

Lastly, the polyester in our bamboo socks is recycled, helping to divert waste from landfill.

Why I love the fox socks

The closest I came to a fox was last winter, a big flash of red stalking across the park. I love foxes for their wildness, even in cities like Cardiff where we live.

When Daniel and I were choosing our men's socks, we wanted nature-inspired designs that weren't too 'masculine'. Rather they're for anyone who loves wildlife however you identify, and also for us women with big feet! I borrow Daniel's pair of these socks all the time.

How to care for your fox socks

Taking care of your socks is pretty simple. Make sure to wash them on a gentle cycle with similar colours. For when you're feeling fancy, warm iron them on the reverse. Lastly, make sure never to tumble dry or bleach them.
