If you love the taste of cardamom spice on a winter's day, you'll love this cardamom chai tea, made with organic Assam tea, cardamom, cloves and peppercorn.
Cardamom chai tea can be served with milk and sugar according to your taste. To make it the traditional way, let four teaspoons of loose leaf or four tea bags boil in a half litre of water for five minutes. Add 250ml of milk and sweeten with sugar (or honey, but at the very end). Pour it through a strainer and serve four cups of cardamom chai you'll be proud of.
Nemi teas are special because, not only are they certified organic and plastic-free (the packets are home compostable), they also provide work opportunities for refugees in the UK to gain local experience and become integrated within the community in London. The tea itself is Fairtrade and sourced from the Nilgiri district in Southern India.
Choose from a pack of 15 teabags, or 125g of loose-leaf tea.
